Redington VAS provides repair or replacement coverage, both parts and labor, from Apple-authorized technicians. Service coverage includes the following:

Terms and Conditions

  1. Support is not provided in the event to protect against normal wear and tear, or to repair cosmetic damage not affecting the functionality of the Covered Equipment.
  2. Accessories that come with the iPhones will only have support during the first year of the warranty period and not during the extended warranty period.
  3. Support will not be provided to iPhones;
    • With repair damages caused by fire, earthquake or other external causes.
    • To repair damage caused by reckless, abusive, willful or intentional conduct, or any use of the Covered Equipment in a manner not normal or intended by Apple.
  4. Service coverage is available only for iPhone and its original included accessories or for batteries that retain less than 80% of their original capacity. Replacement equipment that Apple provides as part of the repair or replacement service may contain new or previously used genuine Apple parts that have been tested and pass Apple functional requirements.   5. Local telephone fees may apply. Telephone numbers and hours of operation may vary and are subject to change.
  6. Same-day service availability and options may vary by region and iPhone model. Typically it would take 5-7 days for iPhone to be repaired in Kenya & Nigeria. This is subjected to availability of parts and could vary based on the region and partners.
  7. Carry-in repair: Take your iPhone to Ensure Services or Ensure affiliated Apple Authorized Service Partners
  8. Proof of Purchase is required for availing this service.
  9. Free Pick up and drop service may be charged if the unit is out of warranty.
  10. 1-year extended warranty would be applicable as per manufacturer's 1 year warranty defined under apple.com/legal/warranty/products/ios-warranty-emea-english.html
  11. All iPhones comes with a limited 1 year global warranty. However, iPhones purchased under the redington VAS program extends this warranty period by an additional 1 year to a total of 2 years warranty support.
  12. Any warranty claim would be rejected for any unit which was serviced/opened by any unauthorized Apple service provider.
  13. For Value added services customers cannot file any legal claim against Redington or its partners.
  14. Customers are advised to have a backup of their data before handing over the unit for repair.
  15. Any loss of data during repair process shall not be liable for any compensation regarding data loss.
  16. Any Physical /water damage to the unit, shall be covered in the value-added services 1 time only during the first 6 months from the date of purchase. After 6 months, any part replacement in such scenarios would be charged as per customer approval.
  17. Customer can only avail the extended warranty support in the country of purchase only,
