How to Get Dark Mode on Smartphones

Posted on March 31, 2022April 1, 2022 By Redington Gulf No Comments on How to Get Dark Mode on Smartphones

Smartphones were not designed for those who have poor vision or who want to read in bed. The mobile devices meant to meet these demands have a major flaw: they don’t have a mechanism to change the hue of the screen. However, dark mode isn’t as beneficial as it may be. Smartphones have begun to have several settings for altering the color of the display, but the results are still lacking. I’ll teach you how to alter the display color on any smartphone in this post.

A color filter built in the screen determines the color of the display on a smartphone. This filter may be turned off, allowing the complete screen to utilize the same RGB as the display on a laptop or desktop computer.

It’s a lot easier to change the look of a smartphone screen. All they need is a color filter removal tool or a specific program that alters the filters. The color filters may be removed by hand, but it’s time-consuming and requires a little flat-head screwdriver and a lot of patience. To prevent the above, I’ll teach you how to achieve the same outcome with a color filter remover application.

For whatever smartphone or model, the procedure for removing color filters is essentially the same. There are a lot of filters to choose from, and you can adjust them quickly from the app. Because the method is quite similar, I’ll teach you how to remove the blue color filter on the Samsung Galaxy S9. Colormagnet is the app I’ll be using, which you can get from the Play Store.

  1. Install the app on your device.

You’ll need to utilize an app to track down the color filter. This will need a strong internet connection. I’m on Wi-Fi, and the software works well in most circumstances. The app doesn’t work with mobile data. You’ll also need to download and access the Google Play Store or the App Store from your computer for the following step. Select your device from the list and access the information page once you’re within the app.

  1. View the color filter’s details.

When the app recognizes the model, it will provide the color filter options for you to choose from. For example, the Galaxy S9 features blue filters on both sides of the screen.

  1. To access the filter’s settings, press the menu icon.

A short check at the settings will reveal a means to access the menu that allows you to modify the color filter. The settings menu may include a glimpse of the filtered screen if you’re lucky. Otherwise, it merely displays the settings, which you may figure out if you can understand it.

As of today, almost all of the phones have a dark mode feature already installed and don’t need to be downloaded anymore. It doesn’t really matter what phone you are using. However, if you have any phone in mind that you really want, Redington is here for you. As we are one of the largest robust technology-powered platforms, we cater different brands of smartphones.
